I mentioned the Hale Cycle not long ago in a conversation I was having with some friends. One of whom (a friend of a friend, really) was spouting the alarmist BS. She had never heard of it so I pointed out that if she's going to pontificate on 'the science' behind climate change she should learn some actual science.
