"Even if the US, responsible for 15% of global emissions, were able to attain net zero by 2050, its contribution would reduce global temperature by less than one-seventieth of a degree."

These "climate skeptic" politicians need to stop screwing around. The argument "If the US goes carbon neutral but India and China don't it won't make a difference" is not the right narrative.

CO2 doesn't cause meaningful global warming. This is proven by ice core samples that show both higher CO2 concentrations when the earth was cooler, and by the fact that CO2 levels lag temperature increases, they don't lead them.

These politicians are giving credence to the global warming lie, while taking an apparently "selfish" stance of "Well since China isn't going to do anything, we shouldn't sacrifice our economy". Libtards eat that up, because it reinforces their childish, dualist worldview that the "right" is selfish and small minded, while also strengthening their useful idiocy in supporting dystopian, jewish globalism and the dissolution of nation states.

The entire climate change circus is a clown show. They need to attack the root of the clown show, the lie that human influences on CO2 levels have a major impact on global temperatures. It's not CO2 from burning hydrocarbons.

It's the sun. It's always been the sun. The sun has the potential to be incredibly dangerous to life on earth. There's hard evidence this happened around 12k years ago. The sun is what we should be studying, intensely.

We need a plan to survive CME's when the earth's magnetic field is weakened or gone. That means redundant analog systems for critical infrastructure and transportation that can easily be stood back up if circuitry is fried unexpectedly. We can't have all of our cars, trucks, planes, and trains bricked because of an unexpected Carrington event. Right now, this would cause mass starvation globally.

We also need to study the potential for solar micronovas and have a plan to survive if one happens.

I'm old enough to remember that we were all supposed to be dead from "global warming" decades ago...
