Why would it be red-faced when it has no shame?

If they didn't have double standards, they'd have no standards at all.

"Red-faced" implies that they are capable of being embarrassed. Even when one of their attention whoring efforts backfires they will display it to the public in hopes that someone will think of a solution for them.
