That map had me a little suspicious showing all of that open water between those islands of Northern Canada. I found this live webcam: https://tabi.cam/canada/tundra-buggy-lodge-348327/ from Churchill, which is on the North West part of Hudson Bay. That water seems like it has a thin layer of ice on it already (no waves/ripples were visible when I watched it....the camera was tracking a polar bear as it moved away from the water, so you might have to wait to see the water again). Those Islands which are quite a bit further North, probably have more ice than what is being shown on the picture linked from this post.
