Looks well made, I’m just not that sophisticated, I learn something everyday here on poal.

Lol, there's nothing sophisticated about a martini, it's basically chilled gin. If you want a well done Martini, then that's two of us. I have no clue.

Edit: well made

There are no standards that make gin, gin... doesn't have to be made from any particular source starch, but always tends to have juniper-licorice-ish flavor. Big variety in flavors/textures: New Amsterdam is vanilla-y and smooth; Beefeater and Bombay "sting"; Tanqueray is very middle-of-the-road

Yeah martinis are bullshit, lmao but I'll drink a very well made one, somehow just a little vermouth to chilled gin like said... Go with those mini cocktail onions & a little of their own juice instead of the olives

A Perfect Martini would use equal parts of dry and sweet vermouth. I just "tainted" the glass with extra dry vermouth (crappy Martini vermouth) and used 20 ml of Italian white vermouth (Gancia Bianco). The rest is a regular Martini, but it's hot here and I extra-diluted it (stirred, not shaken).

I forgot, Beefeater. Next time I'll buy Gordon's, It's 40% less.
