My favorite drink I make in the cool early days of spring is called the nignog.

  • 2 parts hennessey

  • 3 parts eggnog

  • a splash of grape drank

  • garnish with a watermelon wedge

  • serve with fried chicken and cornbread

I drink this because as a White man I have no advantages or privileges. The minute I drink this or offer it to someone and identify as black, I get all kinds of perks, pay raises, opportunities and freebies.

It's like gin and tonic, except it's whiskey and tonic:)

It has medicinal value either way.
