I remember watching this cop back in the day and she is overselling this pretty hard. Her eye movements are really giving away that she is lying. I think her role was to be "the cop who fucked the whole thing up" (but she didn't know that at the time) and that's why they never "caught the killer".

Her emotions mean nothing. She relayed the facts and the facts point to jon benet never leaving the house. She was always in the basement. The father knew where she was. They missed the time for the ransom call as he was checking his mail.

I have a hard believing anything she says. She is either a bad liar or has a bad memory of what she was supposed to be saying and her acting coach needs to be fired. I do agree with you that jon benet never left the house and the father knew where she was and who killed her. What I don't get is how his job and her killing are related. Daddy was in with the Clinton's. The only thing makes sense is Daddy fucked up and somehow owned someone money and he offered up his daughter instead.

I didn't care to look more into it. I was a young father when I read that, and loved my little girl more than everything else in this world. I couldn't imagine someone hurting their own little girl and didn't want to read anymore about it.
