Denver omelette on a sandwich. Brilliant!

Once, I was in a restaurant that had a Black Forest salad; but I was paying more attention to the waitress than the menu, and ordered a Black Forest sandwich, which wasn’t on the menu. But the chef made one anyway, because I had boinked the waitress.

On a previous visit, my first, when the waitress had asked: “Soup or salad?” I had thought she had asked: “Super salad?” and had said “Yes!” so she had brought me a Cobb salad, which had been super.

Then, after we had boinked a few more times, it turned out she was the daughter of the daughter of my father’s first wife, whom I had never met: ergo my niece. Womp! Womp!

Best waitress ever, though.
