Next time, start with a 1/4 tsp cumin. Cumin is one of the stronger spices. You can always put more in, pinches at a time, but you can't take it out.
If you cut yourself (I see a bandage,) it's just part of cooking. Take your time. Don't rush. Prep as much as you're comfortable with before you start. Sometimes, put water on to boil, start chopping, water has been boiling for minutes before I'm done. No biggie.
