I acknowledge that the 2019 iPhones have great cameras.
But the others do too.
How come just a feature of the iPhone was highlighted in Rewind 2019?
I have noticed that no matter what Apple does, whether they build inferior cameras (2013 – 2016) or coequal cameas (iPhone 11 Pro), people always highlight the strengths of Apple products (which other devices usually have too), and trivialize the weaknesses.
How come the Rewind video never mentioned the 45W fast charging of Huawei and Samsung?
Why is it that everything you stick an Apple logo onto suddenly becomes much more iconic, no matter its actual value?
Why did no iSheep complain when Apple's cameras were clearly inferior compared to the rest?
- 2013: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could record in 2160p and 1080p@60fps.
- iPhone 5s only 1080p@30fps.
- 2014: iPhone 6 had no OIS, and 6+ only for photos, while Note 4 had OIS for videos too.
- Also, the iPhone 6 had no 2160p video recording yet.
- 2015, 2016: Samsung had bigger image sensors, while the iPhone 6s did not even have an OIS.
How come no iSheep complained when the iPhone 6 lacked 2160p (4K) video recording, or when the iPhone 7 still lacked fast charging in 2016 while Samsung already had it for two years?
are more examples of that phenomenon.
How come iSheep tend to label additional functionality of other manufacturers (e.g. Air View on the Galaxy Note 2 and S4) as “bloatware” and “feature creep” or “unnecessary” (e.g. 4K video on the Galaxy Note 3; fast charging in 2014), while it suddenly becomes very useful when the newest iPhone happens to have it?
The iPhone 11 Pro would barely be less popular if the camera was only half as good.
Apple is just very good at marketing it.
Apple can build whatever they like, yet it gets purchased by naïve iSheep.
iSheep
They have an ulterior interest in having the biggest herd possible, since some of their phone features/apps aren't compatible with other phones.
