I find it hard to believe that an ecosystem of crApple apps exist outside of their app store.
There used to be quite an active community of jailbroken applications.
Plus you'll get long covid.
If you side load too many times, you'll no longer have gender dysphoria.
I'm not a fan of Apple. I never bought any Apple product.
When my old Kindle died recently after 8 years of hard abuse, I decided to sideload Android apps on my new kindle. I was particularly frustrated with Amazon's limited silk browser, so I side loaded Brave via Google Apps. Love it, huge upgrade! So I've been using Brave for a couple of months of bliss and suddenly Amazon updates Kindle software, disables Brave (but not my other side loaded stuff) with the explanation the Kindle software was updated, app authors have been notified, awaiting updated Brave app compliant with the new kindle update. I uninstalled Brave since Apple blocked it's execution, then reinstalled it from Google Apps. Tried opening and nope, still blocked by Amazon. That was about 2 weeks ago. Still waiting. Very frustrating, especially if it was an app that I was paying for enhanced features. Amazon Silk really sucks.
Maybe it is far past the time of DMA that took the rights away from all consumers for copying for home use digital copies of purchased music among other things. Fuck apple, fuck ms, fuck printer software, fuck all this bullshit the dma made reality, fuck car software, fuck tv's with call back software aka spyware.
