I thought negroes wanted to self segregate again but they keep popping up in white areas. All talk and never any action, just like them trying to find a job or even just graduate. Unless whitey does it, makes laws or special rules for them they never do anything.

If there was really no problem, or he was passing through, etc, he could have simply said "whatever" and been on his way. In typical nog fashion, however, he has some sort of inner entitlement to do as he pleases, the suspicion is warranted (and he knows it) and he doesn't like that so he will try to justify, argue, and take his time while dancing around and trying to hide the reason for why he is actually there.

If this had been a store, and he was trying to steal and the white guy was the asset protection, this nog would be using the situation (public store, opportunity to ruin white man's job; knows his hands are tied by a company that will bend over backward for the nog) to not only harass this guy back, but scream racism, demand a manager, and making a fucking scene....because he wasn't able to get away with stealing. "eyes gon pay fo dat! wat chu talkin' bowt cuz?"
