The "overcrowded hospitals" narrative has always been a total myth. There is a reason none of the field hospitals set up in this country were used at all.
If you know any friends or family who are nurses/doctors (as long as they are not hysterical liberals), just get them alone and ask them off-the-record what's really going on. An example of what they might tell you: entire half-empty wards at hospitals that were shut down, so instead of having two wards at 45% capacity, they now have one at 90%. The media picks up on that as "the ICU is full!!"
Yep, shut down ICUs in the hospital and suddenly they're at capacity.
