SUDDENLY, when 1200 bucks per CITIZEN is brought up, Ron Johnson huffs and puffs about "fiscal responsibility."

I wouldn't even be mad about this amount, IF we actually took care and put AMERICA FIRST. Take care of our own, and THEN we can see what's leftover for our strategic partnerships, but FFS, we just get thrown under the bus by both parties time and time and time again - WHILE ALSO BEING THE ONES WHO FUND IT ALL.
