One lesson I wished we would have learned from the manufactured covid crisis was that these extended supply chains are bad news. It seemed that there was a moment when moving production closer to home was going to happen (at least to S America), but sadly it seems that thought came and went.
At the very least getting our pharmaceuticals back in house would have been prudent.

Here is a novel idea: fuck paying the chinks to manufacture our shit. Make it here, employ Americans, keep the money in America and enrich our country and not the bug people.
