You think they'll come here?
Kind of hope not. If a few of them hang out on Voat for a while and hear about this place and come, fine. But I don't think it'd be great if a bunch of butthurt, spez-cowtowing, sensitive babies used this site as a landing pad for their impending ban. All we'd hear about is 'how do we get back at reddit/back to reddit', 'we have to outright ban any racism we see here,' 'there's no content here won't someone post some reddit memes?'
Fortunately I don't think this place would be of much interest to them, as their objective seems to be trying to swing votes on reddit. What appeal could this place (or Voat, really) offer to them in that regard, where our users are fewer than theirs and we're already (for the most part) more right-wing then they are? Maybe they'll come here and try to convince us to love Israel?
They will try, but they can fuck off back to reddit, if they come here I will actively resist them, this place doesn't deserve to become another conservative inc. website.
I love the satirical nature of this article. To be honest, I slightly want them only because I think we can help them not be so simplistic in their nationalist attitudes. Patriotism is nice and I fully understand being Republican as a strategic thing, but they're somewhat too Conservative Inc. I'd rather open them up to more Dissident Right perspectives.
I guess that's possible, but I'm dubious.
I could be wrong but I see them as people who are concerned with social consensus above intellectual freedom/truth. They'll bend their ideas to what matches neatly to the movement, rather than starting with what do I think and acting from there. So as long as there's a lot of them, which there will be because they're herd animals, you'll never get anywhere with them.
Then it's best they stay away. A large herd of conformists isn't fun.
