When I asked people what was their backup to Voat and why, I got a lot of good responses and discussion.

When I said it appears Voat is really dead and time to move on to one of the backups --- "don't let the door hit you on the way out" "You still here" etc?

Voat in some ways is now worse than reddit in terms of group think and mob mentality. Definitely not a place to have any real discourse or discuss an idea from both sides. If you disagree with the mob, you will be attacked and ridiculed, over and over, until you just say fuck it like the person in your post did.

Someone should invite him here. Sounds like a guy that could contribute some discussion if nothing else.

I wonder what set him off. looking at his comment history he seemed perdy reasonable. not that i looked back far.
