Does school choice matter when all the schools to choose from suck?
I'm very happy with my son's catholic school and we aren't even catholic.
So it doesn't look like I'll qualify, but we did receive an email from our son's private school that encouraged all parents to apply for aide because families up to "450% of the Federal poverty level receiving a full scholarship," And if you don't get a full scholarship you can still a partial.
So maybe I'll at least get something which would be nice since my property taxes fund schools I don't use.
Here's hoping.
As long as they can go to charter schools in the area and not a neighboring district. I don’t want my top rated schools filled with blacks from the next town over. They won’t be too rated any more.
