Ignoring rules and laws is only for liberals. I am a baseball fan, but Rose knew the rules. I vote he be placed in the HOF the day he dies.
Pete should be in the Hall of Fame. Posthumosly will be seen as most " fair".
You know Pete Rose has convinced me the Mandela Effect is real. I am convinced he went to jail even though he never did. Also, I'm from the "stein" universe.
I pretty much forgot about him.
The Hall is a jewish organization - you have to appease the (((sportswriters))) to achieve entry, the same kittle cattle who wept and gnashed teeth for the last several decades about what a “racist” Ty Cobb was, believing the myths and forgeries of Al Stump, one of their own.
The same hack writers go on breathlessly about Shoeless Joe and the Black Sox scandal, but make no effort to reverse its outcome. A case, by the way, in which the “eight men out” were legally exonerated but unilaterally condemned and banned by one man, the crusading “trust buster” Kennesaw Landis.
This Landis saw great evil in Standard Oil, but none in Major League Baseball, itself an insular polyopoly gleefully insistent upon denying players flexibility in favor of his dear friends, the team owners, who also happened to appoint him the sole “commissioner” in a bid to grant it “legitimacy” after decades of corruption, mostly their own. Landis was also was a terror to “draft dodgers” during the First World War, gleefully forcing young American men into the meat grinder of Wilson’s folly.
We could also point to the league itself and its vile efforts to force out any semblance of competition, citing the case of the Portland Mavericks.
However, let us instead pearl clutch that Pete Rose was somehow the black mark on professional ball because he bet on games while never having thrown a game, while the sport itself “unwittingly” benefited from juiced players, juiced balls, gerrymandered strike zones, corked bats, and only selectively enforced its rules when it needed a shot in the arm of “legitimacy,” just as it did with the appointment of Landis.
He's one of The United Emirates of Ohio's sportball cerealbox heroes, so the lawmakers here wet themselves thinking about him. That's all this is.
You are correct. This needn't be the focus of the government. Rather, it should be making whatever efforts necessary to prepare and protect its population from the jewry at large.
