The internals all had date codes of 05/79 but apparently it is a 1981 model F that came with the first IBM pc. I am going to convert it to ps2 and run it. The early buckling springs are amazing feeling, lite crisp break unlike the newer 1988-current ones that are hard and loud.
These are great boards built around a solid steel plate.
I'd take a bunch at that price. But it looks like a pain to get used to, especially the enter and backspace. Model M is still the best.
But that left control key though. I have all my control and caps lock keys reversed on my rigs.
I don't need caps lock, so I usually just have 3 controls. I tried having a second escape, but I rarely use that, so I switched to control.
