I never got into the fun that is 6800 programming. Messed with 6809 a bit and said fuck this.

Basically:

The processor uses a lookup table to determine what answer you get when asked to divide a number. Some of those entries were missing. Missing entry means the CPU doesn't know how to fully divide that number so you get answers that, while probably are fine for you and me, aren't going to fly if you're doing precise calculations.
