I've got a Phillips wide-screen CRT television, their latest model made just before the flat screens took over. It's sitting in my living room. I never turn it on. It's almost never been used, and is virtually brand new. I'm going to throw it out in the trash. Is there any reason I should be keeping it? I hate to throw out a new television set, but it's antique technology. It was expensive when I bought it new. Breaks my heart, monetarily speaking.

I can't think of any reason. Getting rid of stuff like that is near impossible these days unless you want to play video games on a real CRT.
