The ancient Greek's used a sort of analog computer, one such example being the Antikythera device:

According to one lecture I attended, it was thought to be used to quickly calculate the positions of celestial bodies according to one's birthday in order to prescribe an astrological foretelling of one's fate. Just interesting analog computer trivia.
