Or Mallory, or Cornell-Dublier. Whatever you like.

Sample boxes from the junk I'm cleaning out. I'll keep these for display since they don't take up much space.

Like many people I lament the loss of American manufacturing, and along with it the loss of some beautiful architecture. I am happy to report that the P. R. Mallory and Co Inc. headquarters at 3029 East Washington Street in Indianapolis has been saved from dereliction and razing.

The manufacturing is long gone, but the memory of it is preserved. Hopefully, a future generation will build again what once was.

Why do I feel like you inherited several Radio Shacks from the 70s?

I've been working in electronics since the early 80s. Much of this stuff (in today's photo) was gifted to me from a co-worker that retired, but even he admitted that it's mostly worthless and just to pick out what I wanted and toss the rest. I find it hard to do that, but I need to clear some space because I have too much crap.

Hopefully I can pass this on to someone else, or at least get it out there in channels where someone could use it.

Good call. I know there are some people out there who can use that stuff for something or other old restore. The need is going to be small. Good luck!
