While funny, this is actually an indication that your center channel speaker is too low end for a proper home theater.
Even swapping out that ONE speaker will dramatically improve this.
And dont even get me started on how shitty soundbars are.
It's actually from the TV itself. I feel like they intentionally make TVs have horrible sound so you're encouraged to (((buy))) soundbars, etc.
You cant produce quality sound directly from a television in an acceptable form factor. Speakers on the rear of the television are going to sound lousy because you're only hearing echoes. Front facing integrated speakers would require a wider or taller television because displays have thin bezels to begin with...and making the bezel wider to provide space for a speaker means your 55-75" tv is now an extra 12" or so. The first time you move you'd figure out why the old cabinet style tvs are no longer produced - they're an absolute bear to move. Proper speakers are also deeper than you'd want in a wall mountable television - nobody wants 10" deep televisions on a VESA mount.
Soundbars are OK for low end setups (like a rental condo), but putting in a real receiver and a 5.1/5.1.4/7.1 speaker system is vastly better.
