You can mock it with labels etc, but few websites would have that many registered users, interacting via upvotes within the first 24-48 hours. I was surprised.

Sure I'm not a fan of WWE, but I do recognize WWE fans have at least one thing going for them: Their cult

I call it the WWE church; Wherever you go on the interwebs anglo message boards, you'll find a WWE church/chapter (I'm surprised there seems to be none here on poal)

I don't get it, but I do recognize they are bound to each others by the WWE, and not in a so trivial way, it's like the iron maiden and metal fans to a larger extent, they have that thing in common that sets them appart of the rest of mankind, regardless of race, color, and religion... For real. From outside it looks like a clown joke, but there's more to it than a joke, much more. Something people like me can't really understand. But it's there.

The QCult works pretty much the same when you think about it. They aren't just any random bunch of "truth seekers" / music band fans / wrestling fans

If its not censored the left will attempt to have it shut down. They just call their associates who run payment processors, ISPs and most all the other services required to run a site. They are the gatekeepers of the internet. They make the rules. They would have to do as gab did. Decentralize the servers and find speech friendly services.

When I say gatekeepers Im not saying any single entity has 100 percent but together they cover most of the network in the US. The left comes up with all kinds of nasty tricks to shut down sites.

Im not well versed in networking knowledge but I think there would be a formula or basic starting point based on what a projected number of users and the amount of data, traffic etc as a starting point.

What gab has done was to use mastadons system. Its already built. It was supposedly designed to be decentralized and resistant to being shutdown that way. I have heard that if you want to operate independently you basicly need your own ISP, payment processor etc but there are speech friendly processors and other services now although Im sure theres not many.

Hopefully the balance will shift with changing attitudes about speech when enough lefties get caught up in their own mess.

I would like to do a test of this platform and it's ideas around censorship.

It's obvious saying bad words or bringing up race and crime, race and IQ, etc will get you banned -- probably under the auspices that you are a shill trying to make Republicans look bad.

But what about the Grouper type questions people have been asking TPUSA about demographics and voting patterns. I wonder if you would get banned for asking whether legal immigration is desirable.
