Your stupid friends who invite you from their contact list (or let Fartbook have access to it) even go as far as to try and tag you on photos and shit. Gaggle and FinkedIn do the same shit even if you don't have an account. Forget about clicking the "do not track" as it has little to no effect on anything.
In fact, don't use these "services" as they're all Three-Letter-Acronym Agency spy shit. A nice big database is forming on all your fun internet habits (including gaming and voice chats in and out of games) and other "bad actors" in companies like ADL (for example) will be coordinating with all of them - anyone can buy your data.
Try not using Fartbook at all, ever and get one of those Nokia 3150 phones instead.

This is a stupid story. Of course they are using other means to track people that turn off Kikebook's access to GPS data. If you or your family and friends tag you in all the photos or at events and locations, of course they'll know where you are. How stupid are people?
It bad enough they can compile a report about you based on what your friends and family do and say. But to sit here and complain that Kikebook knows where you are when you tag and post from everyplace you go is moronic.
