Linux is ahead of OpenBSD in terms of device operability/drivers, but since Linux has been poisoned with SJWs it hasn't been my choice de jour. I'll suffer with BSD.
OpenBSD and especially PCBSD are the better choices for PC users. I don't know what to tell users of smart phones and tablets, though.
