Guri says that older RAM cards can be overclocked to reach the desired output.

Uh huh. Totally ignoring that the stuff will get hot as fuck and probably flake out from the clock speeds, if not the excess heat, assuming it will even operate there without just locking up outright.

There's a 300bps subcarrier on your modem too. Mike Rochannel told me so. It leaks data back to IBM.

Haven't they been able to use radio-interference frequencies to get screenshots of what your monitor is displaying, from a distance/through walls, for a while? They do this kind of shit. Read a document describing how they can translate the vibrations of some nearby object and make it in to a veretable microphone and shit like that. Totally legit, real tech: not science fiction. And this is just the stuff us people, who find this stuff interesting, can get our hands on.

Just imagine what they do with stuff which is actually (still fully) classified.

That's always been a thing, any device that runs on electricity generates a field.Point the right equipment at it, you can capture the fluctuations in this field and interpret them.

This story smacks more of a "I can take A and B and do C with them! Look!" There are easier ways to get things off air-gapped machines, including just paying some grunt money to stick a usb device into it.

Yup. Distractions, either way. Fodder for the #IFLS folk. *edit: my point being, they will always used advanced tech against the people. You should never take for granted that they can "tap in" to your life whenever they want. All you can do is do what you know is right, regardless of the circumstances.

That's trading a problem for another, which is sometimes the thing to do

One witness is already too much

Yes, but by then the damage could be done.
