I'm just taking a wild guess but I'd be shocked if NSA doesn't have a workaround. They ALWAYS have a workaround. Us citizen peasants wouldn't have access to truly unhackable encryption messaging, (((they))) would never allow that. They would allow an app that makes you think it's 100% encrypted though, hence this.

Check out Wickr instead of signal.

I have a private XMPP server. It's not the most convenient thing in the world, but it works for the few people that need to use it.
