All dating apps are like leeches sucking off money from mostly desperate and lonely people. If they didn't exist, the world would be a much better place. Their only goals are engagement and having paid users. If people got paired up easily and deleted them, these apps won't even last long.

Dating apps were amazing around 2000-2005. Because of the stigma attached it was full of smart tech savvy women who were just a bit socially awkward. Tomboys, nurses, paralegals, etc. It was fucking great. Now that there is no stigma it's full of painted whores and fat niggers.

Instead their issue is that they can't keep people's hopes up infinitely and eventually most guys find something better to do than browse through average(ie overweight, nonwhite and been with dozens of guys) to below average women with insane demands and so they end up losing that income quickly regardless. Bumble, the dating app where women are in charge of making the first move, has temporarily closed all of its offices this week to combat workplace stress.

Its 700 staff worldwide have been told to switch off and focus on themselves.

One senior executive revealed on Twitter that founder Whitney Wolfe Herd had made the move "having correctly intuited our collective burnout".
