They won't be able to block it but they'll simply remove it from the google store more or less taking it out of the most popular browser. Your average user isn't going to go out of their way to install it.

Other companies have tried this including Google. None of the smaller companies could get funding to keep development & hosting going and Google bitched out and killed the feature.

Imagine all the shitty news outlets that will get paranoid by this. Lmfao

I think it's a good thing as long as GAB doesn't log and control what is being said (they want to do the same thing as Disqus but they will be in total control of everything that is been told).

I'm just concerned about that.

Logging is moot. You make the comment, its there in the database under your profile attached to the site (url) you made the comment on/about.

Now ads and data mining are a different issue. But then again I think Torba knows most of us use ad blockers.
