Word is an odd combination of word processor and typesetter, and actually have to do it together annoys the hell out of me. I'm not saying learn LaTeX or howeverthehell you capitalize it, but there used to be GUI tools for separately laying things out on a page, and I feel like the workflow benefits from it. The main thing that pisses me off about Word is I can never find the damn button or menu option for anything; even Googling where it is doesn't work because they move it around all the time.
