This is a valuable lesson to all companies: shipping your manufacturing over seas has consequences. Hiring offshore workers too. I never liked the idea of sending all our manufacturing outside the country. I'm setting up a data center now, I can't obtain servers I need in a timely manner. I'm even trying to buy used equipment. So I'll wait. This supply chain problem will end eventually.

You are correct, companies don't actually exist, they are abstract entities. The people running them need to change their direction. I'm starting a data center myself because I found no local hosting provider: all hosting now seems to be done by the big three (Amazon, Microsoft and Google). I'm going the opposite way: hosting locally. I object to big centralized hosting. There's a market for local personalized services. That's the right thing to do.

Guys, nobody (and I mean nobody) could have foreseen any potential downside to putting the United States in a position where every aspect of its economy was reliant on China.

Also completely unpredictable are the jews going to Washington with their hands out, claiming they need the government to give them some of the money the government stole from you. They need this money to reverse the consequences of their massive profit-taking from offshoring for the last couple of decades, you see. The jews in government will totally not give it to them, and they won't give it to them without accountablility built-in. I mean, nobody would just hand out taxpayer funds to private business for a specific purpose without some way of making sure they use that money for its intended purpose.

If these companies want $50 billion from the taxpayers of the United States, I say the taxpayers of the United States take it in the form of shares. Meaning the taxpayers own $50 billion worth of shares in these companies. At least then we might recoup our investment.

Its pretty funny, because there is a MASSIVE deposit of Rare Earth Minerals in the Mojave Desert.. I'm not talking about in the middle of Joshua Tree either - I just mean in the middle of BFE between NV and I-40... There's enough in there to tell the Chinese to fuck off for a long while; now its interesting because it wasn't part of the Mojave Preserve until Finkelsteinberg's husband bought massive shares of Chinese REM ETF's and then made it illegal to mine there.

Sounds like a good time to learn to better leverage the chips we have. Buy an old, low feature set, many many core graphics card and pluck away at it. Learn to make each chip buzz on it.

The shortage is bullshit. It's a transportation/trade problem. Trucks, and other vehicles, because of the scamdemic, and Sleepy Joe, are not travelling around freely, and trading goods as they normally would. This means chip manufacturers can't get their hands on certain raw materials. But they do have the ability to create chips. If Sleepy Joe stopped screwing around everything would be fine, but he's a dumb idiot, so you'll have to cross your fingers.
