I've been using Waterfox for several years. It's purported to have the same privacy goals. As someone not in the tech sector, sell me LibreWolf over Waterfox if you're familiar with the latter.

Waterfox was sold to an advertising/analytics company a couple of years back and kept quiet.

I installed it over the weekend then completely forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder to play around with the browser!

I had to drop Firefox a while ago and all I could find to use was ungoogled Chromium, but I miss some of the features of Firefox. This may be just the ticket.

I'm a long time Firefox user but maybe it is time to switch. Are Firefox extensions supported?

Until it does have those features enabled.

Firefox is a Soros company...use at your own risk!

I have been using it on Linux, I like it, I get tired of firefox turning settings back on after a update, librewolf is good for general browsing but of course it doesn't play nice with banks and similar websites with fingerprinting via canvas turned on. There are a couple nice browsers for android on f-droid too. You know its a nice browser when tiktok, twatter, and similar doesn't work.

Privacy-focused and notes negatives about jewgle and efforts to remove their control and tracking from web browsing, but I can't help but notice that the dark/light screenshots of the browser on the website main page and several other images on their site are jewgle webp format instead of standard images.
