That "Interactive Chip Explorer" thing is awesome, definitely bookmarking this page. There's probably more of those. All of the vintage radio stuff you posted earlier is very fascinating, thanks for posting. Meant to say that earlier but have been focused on getting a project working today and last few weekends. Its 12am, and the fucker finally works.
I dont know what a LM185 is but I know LM308 make great tone in distortion effects pedals.
The 185 is a precision voltage reference IC. They are essentially three-terminal regulators that don't offer any current, but offer a high stability voltage that you can repeat for references in a circuit. D/A and A/D circuits use them a lot, since they need something to compare to.
These are cool articles. Keep posting. Thx
The "zener zap" anti-fuse was the most interesting part. Give it a surge and it bridges, whereas normally zener breakdown is high enough that normal operation doesn't exceed it.
That's one of the best websites I have ever seen.
I keep a list of exceptional web sites that explain important basic subject matter. That one is now it for integrated circuits.
How fucking interesting,yawn.
Nah, its a good read. You gotta have people who are into this shit because (((they))) will use this knowledge against us
I guess being held down at gunpoint and forced to read it is quite a chore, isn't it?
