The left is highly focused on Twitter. That means it’s important.

Elon Musk taking over Twitter may ruin their party, but even Twitter founder Jack Dorsey said what we really need are decentralized services that use open protocols (like email).

The main venues of public discourse should not be under any single organization’s control. When the government gets the idea of being the online thought police, they should not have a short list of major targets in mind. The internet should be an ungovernable cloud of independent services and peer to peer software.

Biden's new "disinformation" czar wants "trustworthy verified people" like her to be able to "add context" to other people's tweets.

Hold the phone. I seem to remember that the us.gov previously telling us that the whole reason they couldn't even regulate social media was...

ummm... wait a minute... uhhh... something... something... "private company"... something...

Wonder what changed all of a sudden?

Does this mean the government is going to stop secretly propping up Twitter or continue to do so with greater control over it?

This has some great meme potential. Take their tweets and add your own context to it.
