There's a on him, very sad story. He had schizophrenia and poured a massive quantity of life dedicated to communicating to God through his coding by creating his own OS system. His offerings to Him were programs, games, etc all built from the ground up. On jootube, there's videos of people reviewing it, finding the OS technically impressive though clunky and a bit nonsensical.
I wonder if we had mental hospitals, he would have gotten the care he needed and put his skills to use instead of winding up homeless with an early death.

I remember saving a post from somewhere while back, someone had laid out how Temple OS is the 'perfect' closed operating system to not be connected to the net to prevent hacks/ malicious/ code/ deliberate disruption (like the Iran Nuclear Program). For places like Hospitals, Manufacturing, Strategic/ highly sensitive production facilities etc. Was pretty interesting but never had a chance to see someone yay or nay the specifics . I'll try and find it.
