While gold is great for the state, if it aint in your hand its not yours.
I agree. However gold isn't always safe at your house either.
I think in reasonable times the Texas state run testing storage facility would certainly be better than private facilities who are likely lending your gold out without telling you.
However if it all goes bad I don't know whether the state would take your gold.
Government is inherently untrustworthy. Just ask any Indian. When times are good, times are good. You can look at Cyprus, China and Canada as examples of what happens when the government goes rogue. My mattress is safer than a state or jew run organization. I'll take the risk.

Buy a good safe and bolt it to the floor. Or just hide it in your wall if you can't afford that.
I like the idea of burying it somewhere on your property. A court ordered precious metals confiscation raid will not have the resources to dredge up your entire properly down to 1 m.
Not your keys. Not your coins. Same as bitcoin. Of course it's impossible to counterfeit bitcoin or water it down.

Water it down? It's already worthless. Nothing to water down.
Why would a spreadsheet we all share so we can see no one is creating money out of thin air like us banks do be worthless? That's all bitcoin is.
Most don't even know only banks create us dollars and elite jews own the banks.
Yeah. Dot gov is a bad sign.
It's still good for your state to have its own gold in case it ever needs to detach from a cancerous body.
