It never really went away. I've been installing Winamp 5 on pretty much every new build I do.
aw man.. those were the days. i had so much music, it wasnt even funny. all the awesome skins and it was one of the few programs i had that did what it was supposed to. i do feel old now though.

I switched to AIMP after Winamp started crapping itself and never looked back.

I stopped using this a couple of years ago when I couldn't get it enlarged on my laptop when it was running to my 4k TV. The thing was so tiny you needed binoculars to read the controls. I hope this new update fixes the issue.
