Don't worry; Amazon is very adept at ruining companies they acquire so in a year or two Samsung will probably be dominating the robot vacuum market.
Fine with me. this is a huge convenience if I can get my floors cleaned quicker. amazon has generally been very strong about consumer data protection (I work with AWS on a daily basis, they take that shit seriously) so I can't see this as something to get upset about.
Remember when they banned Parler? Shill harder
Yep, read that the other day.....gotta be an alternative that doesn't spy on you...
They will know common floor plans. So mapping your neighbors house means Amazon knows your floor plan too.
Only if you live in a shitty Communist HOA where all the houses are the same. Where I live people build whatever stupid layout they want. My neighbors house consists of narrow rooms with non-perpendicular walls. Dead space galore.
Usually a builder buys a segment of land. They then offer a half dozen different floor plans. That information is recorded with the county. Unless your area is up scale and built by private builders, common floor plans are in fact the defacto standard for a given area.
Mostly private builders around here. You can tell the homes that are not privately build because they all have that same tacky look.
