I see business privacy one reason and another is "can it make a pot of coffee or pick up my dry cleaning or pick up my lunch from the deli down the street" . It's only useful for "can you dial so and so", it's not good enough to replace a physical presence fully.

I've got a voice activated headset in my motorcycle helmet. If I tell Google to play a certain artist it will recognize what I say and try to play it through their streaming service, but won't play the local mp3 files I have on my phone through their own music app. If they wouldn't force you to use this stuff how they want you to I would use it more. They're already listening to what I'm saying anyway.
