That's a bit scary honestly. Thank God there's more than one media player in existence. And also, this is why we make code open source. So that we can find flaws and fix them more quickly.
Always hated this software... feels good to not have to uninstall it.

Well fuck. That's the only thing I've found that plays basically anything. Even half garbaged-up, incomplete torrents from back in the day when it took a day to download a movie.
What's a good alternative?
EDIT: VPN started working (archive.fo links are banned here like almost everything), it's only temporary until a fix comes out. I thought they had gone and done something stupid, like endorse gay child prostitution.
Yeah, they're working on a patch. Hopefully it's out soon.
