At least pass the website off to somebody that isn't a cucked homo. I used that site all the time because jewtube deletes stuff faster than I can watch. Their own censorship is to blame for people having to download videos. Congratulations, you played yourself

Quite unfortunate as I genuinely believe videos that are available to the public can be downloaded and used for lawful purposes if in the right hands.

So I use youtube-dl to grab stuff off youtube and if it's not in the format I want I use ffmpeg. Sometimes a video would be in such a high def format my poor old computer couldn't display it fast enough, so I'd use ffmpeg to cut it down to size, but it turns out the "youtube-dl -f" switch will get the resolution you want. Now I just have a script in /usr/local/bin called dl that goes "youtube-dl -f 18 $1" which forces 640 x 480.

Every once in awhile youtube manages to break something to make it impossible to download something with youtube-dl, so I have to update it with "youtube-dl -U" and wait 30 seconds.

I guess they never heard of winFF. SUre it'll take longer but you realize there is not a log with your IP address there for uploading a copywritten file. If it's music then it's like 10 seconds for a song on the home computer. I'll never get newbs and their online handicaps. If it's video then download it in the mp4 or mkv format no format converting required.
