I live in a very Italian area and the pizza is phenomenal. Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, and Dominos don't exist here. The closest thing to non-authentic pizza around is gas station breakfast pizza.
Saying Pizza Hut is pizza is like saying a McDouble is a quality burger.
Playing Devil's Advocate simply because I can. Having tried many pizzas of many different calibers, I would say Pizza Hut's pizza is not bad. Especially in direct contrast to Little Caesar's. I would never place it on the tier of an authentic restaurant, but in comparison to most grocery store frozen pizzas, the quality is there. So I'd place it in a middle tier.
If I expanded upon this archive of different pizzas and their respective tiers, it would likely sit towards the middle for some time and perhaps slowly drop in rank as I expanded my palette.
I would never support a chain restaurant. Especially a pizza place when the independently owned places are a thousand times better. However, I broke this rule two or three times to get pizza hut's stuffed crust pizza.
