Well, now, that is interesting.

From the post:

>I found the best new thing artificial intelligence can do for your personal life: quit online subscriptions. It ain’t superintelligence. But it is useful. And the way it works — along with when it fails — offers us a snapshot of one of the most-promising frontiers in AI, known as “agents.” I recently wanted to quit Hulu and Disney+, but grew annoyed as I hunted for a cancel button. Making it annoying to quit is part of the business model for many companies. Amazon is paying $2.5 billion to settle with the Federal Trade Commission for tricking people into subscribing to Prime and then making it hard to cancel.

I've seen commercials that have similar claims. How many fucking subscriptions do normies have, that they forget they have em???

Not really sure about that. I think I have only forgotten about maybe one or two and they were on a like 6+ month renewal and when I saw it I canceled it immediately and filed a claim for a refund.

One of them tried to screw with me until I told their rep that I was willing to spend more on a Lawyer than their shitty subscription that used dark patterns to keep you from being able to cancel. They refunded me.

Sounds like you were trying to cancel Sirius XM lol

Actually, I canceled Sirius and had no issues. Though, that was a VERY long time ago. I bet its a real PITA today though.

Popup demanding I pay to read the article?

Are you new?

Are you asking me? There is a Archive for a reason. I don't always remember to make it the primary link since most of these jew sites give you a "few reads a day" without requiring a sub.

Interesting way to dodge answering the question.

I previously cancelled a subscription that required a phone call, no way to cancel online. I got a sales pitch and attempt to get me to cancel my cancellation plans and thankfully stuck with the plan and I did get an email confirmation of the cancellation.

So fucking much this. I have never in my life had a harder time cancelling something than I did with those fucks

I reported them to the Atty General. If you sign up on line there’s a law that says you can unsubscribe online.

The unsubscribe system doesn’t work. They say “must be your browser” claim tech issues all on your side, works for them.

All fucking lies like aol.

Fuck them to hell.
