Sounds like you were trying to cancel Sirius XM lol
Actually, I canceled Sirius and had no issues. Though, that was a VERY long time ago. I bet its a real PITA today though.
I've had it a few times. First time was 2006 when Howard Stern first moved over. Took over a month to cancel when I realized I never listened to anything and his show wasn't good anymore. Then I got it again in 2010 when Radio Shack has a sale on the equipment. Same thing as last time: took about a month of fighting them because they kept saying a manager or someone else would call me back from the cancelation department.
Last time was when I got my Subaru and it came with a free 3 months. They actually sent me to collections rather than just turning off the service because I refused to give them a card. That was a massive pain and I had to threaten legal action before they dropped the charges.
Never again.
Privacy.com It lets you create one-time use CC's and that you can set limits on them in a lot of ways.
Screw them all. Let it fail to pay and then just turn the card off. At least you won't have to fight for a refund. Just to get them to stop trying to charge you.
