Well I said nothing but I did program one of them to some local repeaters and to NOAA via chirp. Just haven't done anything beyond that.

Are you trying to program the radio by the keypad? Coz fuck that. Download , it's free, and get yourself a programming cable. May as well grab one of While you're at it. (I'm assuming you have a UV5R here)
