They need to be fined for this and off shoring to make it not cheaper in the short or long runs. All they care about is getting more money at the C levels. They are even doing this with doctors, not just tech workers at the place I work. For tech workers they are just off shoring us claiming they can't find Americans...we need people to look at two sets of demographics and decide if they are the same person. AI hallucinates too much, but we have managed to get some done on top of our tuned algos. People just have better pattern recognition. Guess what? They say only off shore Indians can do it. Can't find Americans?? The Indians keep logging into the test system we used to train them and say they can't find the tasks. After working in production for weeks. They don't know that Bob can be short for Robert. They don't know that St stands for street...and more. The biggest one is that if you see two people with a name unusual for America they are more likely the same person, especially if something else is close. They can't recognize that. Our hallucinating AI has a better track record. The no Americans for the job just kills me.
