If she was a PhD then she had a doctorate. If she was a MD then she was a medical doctor. They are both referred to as Doctor So-and-so but they are very different things. That OP does not understand the difference really detracts from the petty, anecdotal point he's attempting to make.

Besides it's been pointed out a million times before that people who are book smart are not necessarily well endowed with common sense or practical intelligence.

So whats the minimum college degree for an MD?

Are we talking a bachelor degree + med school?
